Statesman Journal

Frances Fuller Victor was one of the Pacific Northwest’s literary giants of the 19th century, a historian, novelist, and essayist of extraordinary skill. Sadly, she has been largely forgotten. This book begins with an able overview of her life from an admiring California editor, then reprints some of Victor’s best short works. Do yourself a favor and read this book.
